Why this site exists
B2B Data Reviews is an independent comparison site for B2B sales-data providers. We sell none of the tools we rank, we publish the exact rubric we score them on, and we translate the credit models and demo-gated pricing that vendors keep murky. The aim is simple: let you shortlist on numbers, not sales pitches.
The problem we set out to fix
Search "best B2B data providers" and almost every result is written by a vendor that conveniently ranks itself first. Pricing is hidden behind "book a demo." Credit models are deliberately hard to compare. So buyers sit through three or four sales calls just to learn what a tool costs, and still can't line them up like for like.
We're the independent voice that page is missing: one neutral place with real, consolidated pricing, a consistent scoring method, and a UK/US-compliance lens the vendors gloss over.
What makes us independent
- We sell none of the tools we rank. We have no data product of our own, so we have no reason to push one tool over another.
- Scores come before any commercial relationship. Every provider is scored on the published rubric first; affiliate deals never move a rank or a verdict.
- We show our working. Every figure (pricing, ratings, coverage) traces to a named source listed on the page. Pricing we can't firmly verify is labelled unconfirmed estimate.
- We date everything. Each page carries a "last reviewed" date, and we re-verify figures before they go stale.
How we make money
Honestly, and out in the open. The site is free to use; our income comes two ways:
- Affiliate commissions. When you buy through some links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you, and it never changes a score, rank or verdict.
- Display ads on our guide pages. We keep them out of the way of verdicts and pricing tables, never beside a score you're trying to read.
If a recommendation ever reads like it was bought, we've failed. The whole business only works if you trust the verdict. So the verdict isn't for sale.
A note on authorship
No byline, by design. The author's name isn't what makes a review trustworthy; our independence is. We sell none of these tools and take no payment for rankings, and every score follows a published methodology and cites its sources.
Corrections and right of reply
We report what's documented (published prices, regulator decisions, court records and verified reviews) and we attribute every claim to its source. We don't publish unproven allegations, and we include a vendor's own response where one is on record. Prices and product details also change without our knowing, so if anything reads as out of date or wrong, whether you work for a provider we cover or you just spotted it as a reader, tell us. We'll check it against the evidence promptly and correct anything that doesn't hold up. Email corrections@b2bdatareviews.com.
